Miodrag Mihailovic was a well-known painter in South Haven, MI who came to the area in the late 1960’s but retired there to San Bar, the artists community, where he had a studio on Lake Michigan and painted in a very pointillistic style with water-like movement and color to match the sunset in this particular piece. Oranges and blues swirl to create movement and texture rich is color and shape.
